Is there a cure for Morning Sickness?

Surely there has to be a cure for morning sickness?

Between 50% and 90% of women experience morning sickness symptoms during pregnancy. That’s a whole lot of sick ladies!

With that many women affected, there must be some potion, medication, supplement or diet that will put an end to pregnancy nausea and vomiting for good.

Right?

Garlic, herbs, supplements, exotic fruits and vegetables. Surely there is a cure for morning sickness...

A miracle morning sickness cure?

If only there was one!

The reality is, there is no miracle cure or silver bullet when it comes to morning sickness. There are natural remedies and medications that can help, but no cure for morning sickness as such.

Beware the miracle cure

There are lots of things you can do to help find relief and combat your morning sickness symptoms, but be cautious when someone claims they have a “cure for morning sickness”.

People sharing or promoting “cures for morning sickness” are:

  • making false claims;
  • don’t know what they are talking about; OR
  • are recommending something that worked for them or someone they know.

It doesn’t mean it’s a cure and it doesn’t mean it will work for you (or be safe for you or your sweet babe). Be cautious and informed and check with your doctor if you’re unsure.

There is no cure for morning sickness but there are strategies and remedies and medications. The trick is in finding the right combination for you.
